"The Bee":
Memoir from Boris Nikolov

Some friends are conversing with the Master in front of the lower room. Suddenly a restless bee whirls around them. It goes round, round and bumps into the Master. The Master stops conversing. A second time the bee whirls around him and again bumps into the Master. The Master stops for a moment, enters his room, in a while comes out with a jug of water and goes to the hives, all the way at the other side of the meadow against the vineyard. [It turns out that] They [(some people)] had put syrup in the feeding-tray outside for the bees, but the syrup condensed from the Sun and many bees became glued to it. The Master pours a little water and with a stick stirs the syrup, thins it out, and sets the bees free. The bees fly away from the feeding-tray and circle joyfully around the hive. The bee that was sent to ask the Master for help had found him and passed its call for help and protection.
