The Good Way
- prayer of the spiritual-student
Lord of Light, of all fullness and kindness, of which my Teacher has spoken and
speaks to me of You, reveal Yourself to me as You would will, as it is
pleasing to You.
I am prepared to fulfill Your Will without any deviation, without any doubt.
I will be as faithful and truthful Lord, even as You are faithful and truthful.
Because of the name of my Teacher, through whom You have spoken to me, so
that I may always rejoice in the presence of Your Word, in the revelation of Your
great and Holy Spirit, and so that I may always be like the little children of Your
Kingdom: obedient, diligent, constant, patient and content in Your boundless
Love, which You reveal to all the weak and wearied, who seek the way of Your
eternal Light, in which You abide, I pray to You Lord, illuminate me and let not
the presence of Your sweet Spirit distance itself from my soul, from my heart,
from my mind, from my will.
Let me be, Lord, a bearer of Your Word, a fulfiller of Your kind Will, to always
do that which is pleasing to You.
Let Your Spirit incarnate in my soul. And let me rejoice in the presence of Your
light, because of the name of my Teacher, with which You are known in the world.
Let Your Name be glorified on Earth, Lord, and let us all come to know You, that
You are the One, True God and Savior of the World - Christ.
Bless all these Your children and brethren, who know You and serve You in Spirit
and Truth.
Let Your fatherly arm of protection and guardianship be extended above them and
their homes, and above their children, that they may grow in the way of Your
Light, in which You abide.
Let Your Will, Lord, be fulfilled upon the Earth and let Your Kingdom, Lord, be
established upon the Earth now and through the ages of ages.
